The Danish Acoustical Society and Ørsted•DTU - Acoustic Technology, will host the first joint conference between the acoustical societies in the Baltic countries and the acoustical societies in the Nordic countries.
Conference dates and venue
The conference will take place 26 - 28 August 2002 at the Technical University of Denmark in
Lyngby 15 km north of central Copenhagen, Denmark. See the B-NAM links

Presentations must be given in English.
Presentations
will last 16 minutes followed by 3 minutes discussion. The beginning and the end
of the 16 min period will be indicated by loudspeaker signals in the conference
area and in the lecture rooms.
The standard AV-equipment in all lecture rooms consists of an overhead projector
and a computer projector. (There is one exception: In the session on Room
Acoustic
Note that slide projector, computer and amplifier-loudspeaker are not included in the standard equipment. Please notify the secretariat or the organizers if you need any of these devices.
Proceedings
The invited and the contributed papers will be printed in proceedings after the
conference. Manuscripts must be in English. Deadline for submission of
manuscripts: 26 August 2002, i.e. at the conference. See the
Information for authors.
(Although an exception, an aural presentation without a contribution to the
proceedings is allowed)
Submission of abstracts
Abstracts of approximately 200 words should be submitted by e-mail to
the conference secretariat mia@miacon.dk . Include: Title of paper, author(s), full postal address,
e-mail address.
